4 stars – Insightful and honest story of a different style
“Unlike the Belle de Jour books, this is written by a beautiful escort who does not hide behind a pen name to make this a more insightful and less fictional account of life as a top end escort. I found the book informative, challenging and entertaining and for anyone interested in understanding how people make non-standard choices in life then this book is a great opportunity. One thing the book makes clear is this lifestyle was one of informed choice and operated successfully by a level headed young lady who knew what she was doing. The book is certainly a warts and all account of Bea’s career from posh food & restraunts to some rather more disasterous dates. The book ends with Bea’s announcement of the end of her escorting career and the challenges that lay ahead in finding a new career and her life. Hopefully in a few years there will be a sequel to this book for us all to discover how successful the next stage of her life has been.”

5 stars – At last something genuine
“This book was a great read, looked very long but somehow easy to get to the end; I was very amazed to see the author was able to share all this with potential readers, and was very touched by it all. It also taught me many things about human behaviour that I had no idea about, and I am very grateful!
She was successful at escorting, and good for her, some people deserve to be so. I didn’t find it “Glamorised” but on the opposite, very down to earth. Unlike ‘Belle de jour’ which a friend bought me and I thought was absolute crap, (I couldn’t read it all) Bea’s book touched my mind as a person, and I would recommend it strongly to anyone interested in the sex industry and in another beautiful and aware human being.”

5 stars – Its not just about Sex
“I was intrigued by the concept of a ‘real life’ insight into the world of an escort. What I found inside this book was all that, but also so much more. I don’t normally read biographies as I feel they are often the sanitised version that people want you to think they are. In this book Bea manges to provide a compelling insight into the world of an escort. Giving a perspective on both the escort and the client. However she also bravely charts her journey through life and how this impacted on her and the decision that she made. After reading this book I was left not with a memory of a erotic novel, although some of the encounters are described quite graphically, but with an insight into human nature/behaviour.
Don’t read this book for the sex, read it for the honest, unvarnished and sometimes touching insights into human behaviour.
I congratulate Bea on being able to accept who she is, warts and all, and to have the courage to share this openly for the benefit of others.”

“When i heard about this book i thought “oh another escort diary” they seem to be the trend these days,but i was curious as for once it wasnt annonymous and that got me even more intrested.Well i was not dissapointed this was exellently written where you can see the experiences coming out from the book as you read it.It was a very warm and exiting read of rebeccas childhood through to teens and present life experiences which shaped her into her present career.In places although quite explicit i dont think the book would have been the same without that context.I would reccomend this book to all female readers age 15 plus i personally look forward to the sequal.”

“This is a recommended read for anyone seeking genuine insight into a world underpinned by privacy and discretion.
The book explores a manifestation of `the oldest profession’ in which sex appears to play a less prominent role, but genuine emotional connection is key, eveeven if only temporary.
One of the most compelling aspects is the compilation of contributions from family and close friends, documenting their views on the author’s fulfilment of her chosen profession – a brave and unglamourised addition.
The other, is the inclusion of numerous, extended diary accounts of actual dates, which are fresh and fun to read.
The author comes across as a genuinely caring and grounded individual, a passionate advocate for her vocation, who is both capable and willing to work hard, to achieve the success which she deserves and seems to have achieved.

5 stars – The Gift
I found this to be a well written, funny, moving, challenging and sometimes uncomfortable, but overall inspiring account of a successful career in an unorthodox business field. Her many thoughtful observations should now make this the standard work for any man who wishes to treat a lady with respect.
What particularly struck me was the genuine concern for others that is an essential part of Bea’s approach to her work, and a sense that she was writing this book to in order to give something back in grateful thanks for her career. We are all the richer for her gift.
